    Hi,

Could you share the contact information of the guide you said was very good (The one in the picture). Also, if you know any other good guides in other cities like Aswan and Luxor. Thanks a lot.

Hi Kiki: we’re wrapping up our first visit to Cairo. We used the tour guide that you recommended through the form box on this blog entry, and we had an absolutely wonderful time!

He was already booked yesterday, so he helped us find a trustworthy and extremely informative guide to take us to Sakkara, Dushur and Giza. Today, he was able to guide us through the Egyptian Museum and the Khan-el-Khalili. He even helped my wife barter for a souvenir!

In addition to being very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful, he is simply a delightful person, and we loved spending time with him today. We will hopefully be back in Egypt again sometime soon, and we will definitely want to work with him again.

Thanks so much for making his contact information available. He also says very kind, gracious and positive things about you, of course!

    Cheers and happy travels!

My brother, sister and I just finished our Cairo trip and the tour guide you recommended was amazing! He was so helpful, great with communication and overall flexible to whatever we wanted our itinerary for the 3 days to be. We had a great experience here in Cairo thanks to him and I just wanted to say thank you for the recommendation because a good tour guide makes all the difference in a traveling experience !

      Lots of love ?

I am Egyptian and I wanted to recommend some good restaurants where you can eat amazing egyptian dishes but don’t ever go alone without a local .You can contact me when you come and i’d be more than glad to take you there .Here is the list :
1-El refaay for kabab (only works at night)
        2- sobhi kaber
        3- el brens
4- balbaa ( in Alexandria and northcoast only)
5- wahet khattab (north coast only)
6- el tahrir ( koshary with good quality and reasonable price).
7- abo heidar ( for shawerma)
8- desouky and soda ( you can go alone as it’s available at many good
        malls)
        9- kababgy at sofitel hotel

Another thing , Egypt is not a very good place for shopping so don’t waste your time doing that as you can do that better in other countries.

I am glad to help with information or even taking you to some places so please don’t hesitate to contact me

Here’s how we spent a weekend in Philadelphia #MarriottHotelsPartner

We were lucky enough to stay at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, located right in the heart of the city! From there, we made sure to see the best the city had to offer families:

🥞 Breakfast at The Pantry (inside the Marriott!)
🖐️ Please Touch Museum
🔔 The Liberty Bell + Independence Hall
🍲 Lunch at Reading Terminal Market
💦 Splash time at Sister Cities Park
🧬 Visit the Franklin Institute
🏮 Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square (annual summer event)

There’s so much for families to do in Philadelphia and being a Marriott Bonvoy member makes it so much more accessible.

From the location to having toddler amenities on-hand and staff who actually understand what traveling with a toddler is like — it’s those small comforts that make a huge difference on family trips.

Thank you for the stay @MarriottHotels!

I wanted to make history come alive for Ollie and what better place than in Philadelphia, USA? #MarriottHotelsPartner

Our stay at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown created the perfect opportunity to really explore the heart of this historical city. From the Liberty Bell to Franklin Square, we really dove into the heart and culture of Philadelphia.

After a day of exploring, we were treated with some of Philadelphia’s finest delicacies at Marriott’s Thirteen Restaurant.

We stayed cool on our trip by bowling a few games at Liberty Lanes, the hotel’s on-site, retro bowling alley. Did I mention there was even an arcade??

And after a long day, we were soothed by the many comforts and amenities Marriott has to offer.

Traveling with little ones isn’t always easy, but being a Marriott Bonvoy member truly
makes it so much smoother.

From comfy cribs already in the room to friendly staff who actually get what traveling with a toddler is like, Marriott Hotels takes so much stress off our trips. It’s the little things that make a big difference when you’re on the go with a little one!

Thank you for the stay @MarriottHotels!
